Alabama defensive tackle Marcell Dareus will visit the Buffalo Bills this week, according to a league source.
Dareus, who stopped by NFL Network earlier this month, has visits scheduled with seven teams picking in the top 10, with the Denver Broncos said to be interested with the No. 2 pick in next month's NFLÂ Draft.
The Carolina Panthers will meet with Dareus and are considering the 6-foot-3, 319-pound defensive lineman with the draft's top pick. Dareus is also scheduled to meet with the Broncos, Cleveland Browns, San Francisco 49ers, Tennessee Titans and Washington Redskins.
Dareus only increased his stock with a solid performance at Alabama's pro day on March 9. Team executive John Elway and general manager Brian Xanders of the Broncos, GM Tom Heckert of the Browns, GM Buddy Nix of the Bills, and defensive coordinator Ray Horton of the Arizona Cardinals were among 100 league personnel in attendance.
The odds of Dareus dropping out of the top five seems remote, but much can change between now and late April.
