Fantasy roster reset: NFC South

Now that we're past free agency and the draft, we have a clue of how the teams around the NFL are going to line up. More importantly, we also have a pretty good idea of which players could be in line for some nice fantasy production in 2015. To help you out, we've brought back our Roster Resets for another season. For a more complete look, check out Around the NFL's Roster Reset.

Atlanta Falcons

Key re-signings:Antone Smith, Eric Weems
Key arrivals:Jacob Tamme
Key departures:Jacquizz Rodgers, Harry Douglas
Key draft picks:Tevin Coleman, Justin Hardy

Fantasy depth chart

Just when you thought it was safe to draft Devonta Freeman, the Falcons select Tevin Coleman in the 2015 NFL Draft. This could be one of the more intriguing training camp battles to watch. Fortunately, there are no such issues with Atlanta's wideouts. Julio Jones should again be one of fantasy's premier pass-catchers, although Roddy White's decline could continue. If that happens, it's an open question as to who steps in to pick up the slack -- especially with Harry Douglas moving on to Tennessee.

Carolina Panthers

Key re-signings:Ed Dickson
Key arrivals:Jarrett Boykin, Ted Ginn
Key departures:DeAngelo Williams
Key draft picks:Devin Funchess, Cameron Artis-Payne

Fantasy depth chart

After finding success last season with Kelvin Benjamin on the outside, the Panthers drafted fellow tall person Devin Funchess to play opposite him. That gives Cam Newton a pair of trees to target all season long. Regardless, Greg Olsen might remain the Cats' greatest threat in the passing game. Carolina allowed DeAngelo Williams (Steelers) to leave in the offseason, but that doesn't mean its running back situation gets any clearer. The team added Cameron Artis-Payne in the draft and could still give Darrin Reaves and Fozzy Whittaker the chance to earn some carries in training camp.

New Orleans Saints

Key re-signings:Mark Ingram
Key arrivals:C.J. Spiller
Key departures:Jimmy Graham, Pierre Thomas
Key draft picks:Garrett Grayson

Fantasy depth chart

The Saints offense underwent a major makeover in the offseason, highlighted by trading Jimmy Graham to the Seattle Seahawks. They followed that by re-signing Mark Ingram, adding C.J. Spiller and generally showing signs that they plan to run the ball a lot more in 2015. That means that instead of playing wide receiver roulette, fantasy managers could end up spinning their wheels trying to pick the proper Saints running back. As for the aforementioned wideouts? If Brandin Cooks can make it through the season healthy, there's little reason to think he won't be Drew Brees' favorite pass target.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Key re-signings:Jorvorskie Lane
Key arrivals: None
Key departures: None
Key draft picks:Jameis Winston, Kenny Bell

Fantasy depth chart

When you talk about the Bucs, it all starts at the top with Jameis Winston. The former Florida State star was the No. 1 overall pick and the latest quarterback tasked with resurrecting this moribund offense. The good news is that he has a trio of tall, talented pass-catchers to target in the passing game. However, it's in the backfield where things get a little sticky. The rotation of Doug Martin, Bobby Rainey and Charles Sims won't inspire confidence -- unless head coach Lovie Smith decides one of them should become a workhorse back. That option doesn't seem very likely.
