Outspoken Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie continued to speak out Wednesday about the uncertainty surrounding the league's labor situation, according to the *New York Daily News*.
Cromartie used an expletive to describe union and NFL leaders Monday in a profanity-filled rant.
On Wednesday night, he responded to criticism by Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis and Arizona Cardinals defensive end Darnell Dockett regarding the NFL Players Association and didn't back down from his previous comments.
"I don't give a who about Ray Lewis or @ddockett talking about what I said," Cromartie wrote on his Twitter page. "There's 10's of thousand ppl who will lose jobs. They taking our healthcare away and for players that have surgery can't even get rehab once March 3rd gets here."
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck weighed in on his Twitter account Thursday morning, tweeting "Somebody ask Cromartie if he knows what CBA stands for."
After Hasselbeck's post was later erased, Cromartie fired back.
"hey Matt if u have something to (say) then say it be a man about it. Don't erase it. I will smash ur face in."
Hasselbeck later apologized, posting: "Sorry for the joke man. No hard feelings. DB's & QB's have a hard time getting along I guess sometimes. lol"
The current collective bargaining agreement expires on March 3.
