Eli Manning was itching to play catch, so he and 10 of his locked out New York Giants teammates met at Hoboken (N.J.) High School for some passing drills Tuesday, *The Star-Ledger* reported.
Manning was joined by -- among others -- tight end Kevin Boss, running back D.J. Ware and wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, who had a breakout season in 2010, leading the Giants in receptions (79), yards receiving (1,052) and touchdown catches (11) despite playing in 13 games due to injuries.
While Manning, who, according to the newspaper, wanted to keep the workouts a secret, sought some work for his throwing arm. He was quite content to let other parts of his game remain dormant for the time being.
"(I'm) retired from interviews until the lockout is over," he said with a smile.
