HBO's "Hard Knocks" series would like to return for another season this summer. They'll need a team to agree to appear on the program first.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons have all declined offers to be featured on the show. You can cross the Jets off the list, too, because they aren't interested in an encore to their 2010 appearance on the show, according to the *New York Daily News*.
"There will be no sequel. I can confirm that on the record," Tannenbaum said.
The GM did leave the door open for a return to the show down the line.
"Let's just take it one year at a time," he said.
The Jets starred in the sixth season of the program, which debuted in 2001 and also has featured the Baltimore Ravens (2001), Dallas Cowboys (2002, 2008), Kansas City Chiefs (2007) and Cincinnati Bengals (2009).
