The arm injury suffered by Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy on Sunday "looks bad," a team source told NFL.com senior writer Steve Wyche after Tampa Bay's 27-16 loss at New Orleans.
The source didn't provide specifics or a timetable for McCoy's return, but The St. Petersburg Times reported that McCoy is done for the season with a torn right biceps, citing "players" as the source.
Bucs coach Raheem Morris didn't have an update on McCoy during his postgame news conference, saying only "it doesn't look good."
McCoy, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, had missed the last two games with a left ankle injury. He also missed the final four games of last season with a torn biceps muscle in his left arm.
Bucs wide receiver Mike Williams, who left the game in the first quarter after taking a hit by Saints cornerback Tracy Porter, returned to the game.
