Don't count on Randy Moss calling the big room in Arlington his home this fall.
That according to ESPN.com, which cites a source in reporting the Cowboys will pass on signing the wide receiver, who on Monday announced his intention to return to the NFL.
Moss' agent, Joel Segal, told NFL.com's Steve Wyche on Monday that teams already have called him to gather preliminary information about the 35-year-old receiver after his declaration.
Of course, anyone remotely familiar with the makeup of Dallas' roster shouldn't be surprised to learn the team isn't interested. The Cowboys are pretty loaded at wide receiver, with Miles Austin, Dez Bryant and Laurent Robinson coming off a season in which they hauled in 27 touchdown passes from Tony Romo.
Robinson is due to become a free agent, though ESPN reports the Cowboys would like to re-sign him.
Still, it's possible Moss' announcement gave Jerry Jones pause. The Cowboys' owner and general manager passed on drafting Moss in 1998, citing character issues. Moss spent his career making Jones regret it, torching the Cowboys for 10 touchdowns and nearly 19 yards per catch in seven games, all wins by Moss' teams.
