Indianapolis Colts' Andrew Luck seeks credibility with team

After the first day of the Indianapolis Colts' rookie minicamp, Andrew Luck looked to build up some credibility with his teammates.

"I'm definitely at the bottom of the totem pole," the top pick in the NFL draft told reporters Friday. "(I'm) trying to digest all the info first and build up a little credibility for myself."

The former Stanford quarterback said he was trying to arrange unofficial workouts with Reggie Wayne, Austin Collie and some of the Colts' other receivers.

"We're talking about it," Luck said of the informal workouts. "I talked with Austin and Reggie ... and (we'll) try and work something out."

Once rookie minicamp concludes Sunday, Luck is banned from working out at the Colts' training complex until his classes finish June 7, per league rules.

But Luck doesn't expect to see the veteran Wayne show up at Stanford.

"I won't make Reggie come to where I am," Luck said with a smile. "I'll go where he is."
