David Garrard and Matt Moore split the first-team quarterback reps at Miami Dolphins minicamp Tuesday.

Darlington: Welcome (back) to Miami
Can Chad Ochocinco help the Dolphins in his return to Miami? Jeff Darlington says it's definitely worth a try. **More ...**
NFL Network's Jeff Darlington passed along word to Around the League that Tannehill wasn't with the first team much Wednesday, if at all. Because of all the shifting personnel, it's tough at times to tell if Tannehill was with the twos, the threes, or some combination of backup groups.
Either way, it's clear that Garrard and Moore are getting more snaps as starters.
That doesn't mean Tannehill is out of this three-way competition, but it sure sounds like he's entering training camp as the underdog of the group.
Tannehill always was viewed as a prospect who would take some seasoning before he was ready. It's early, but it's looking more likely he will get time early in the 2012 season just to watch and learn.
UPDATE:The rookie took rep with the Dolphins first team on Thursday as expected, according to Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
