Bruce Irvin thrilled to be a Redskin, er, Seahawk

Forgive Bruce Irvin if he's a little flustered these days. It wasn't long ago that he didn't have a roof over his head. Now he's a millionaire linebacker for the Washington Redskins.

Wait, hold up.

Jones hits home for Irvin

Seahawks DE Bruce Irvin had a rough start in life; the speech that Adam Jones gave at the NFL rookie symposium resonated with him. **More ...**

On the latest episode of "The Real Robinson Report," Seattle Seahawks fullback Michael Robinson asked Irvin how surprised he was to get a call during the first round on draft day.

"I seen a Washington number," Irvin said. "I said, 'Who's calling me from Washington?' I picked it up, it was (Seahawks general manager) John Schneider. They asked me if I wanted to be a Redskin and I was like, 'Hell yeah.' It's a great organization."

Robinson then jumped in: "Asked you if you want to a be a who?"

"I mean a Seahawk," Irvin replied. "I (expletive) up. I (expletive) up."

A slip of the tongue for the Virginia native with Dan Snyder oddly on the mind.

Irvin also said he predicts a double-digit sack season in 2012, something the Seahawks -- not Redskins -- would love.
