1958 — The Los Angeles Rams defeat the Chicago Bears 41-35 before a record crowd of 90,833 fans at the Los Angeles Coliseum.

November 3

1935 — Philadelphia and Boston combine to throw an NFL record 11 interceptions.

November 4

1984 — Seattle sets an NFL record by returning four interceptions for touchdowns in a 45-0 victory over Kansas City. Dave Brown scores twice while Kenny Easley and Keith Simpson also return interceptions for touchdowns. All of the scores are longer than 50 yards.

November 5

1995 — The Carolina Panthers win an expansion record fourth game in a row, defeating the San Francisco 49ers 13-7 at 3Com Park. It is the first time in league history that an expansion team defeats the defending world champion.

November 6

1995 — Art Modell announces that he is moving the Cleveland Browns to Baltimore for the 1996 season.

November 7

1965 — Green Bay quarterback Bart Starr is sacked 11 times by Detroit in a 12-7 loss to the Lions.

November 8

1970 — New Orleans kicker Tom Dempsey breaks a 17-year-old record by booting a 63-yard field goal. Baltimore's Bert Rechichar previously held the record at 56 yards.
