Ex-Eagles RB Westbrook turns back clock in 'Fins workout

Free-agent running back Brian Westbrook said he felt like his old self Tuesday during a workout in Miami. The Dolphins, however, didn't seem convinced he was back to his Philadelphia Eagles form.

"Workout went really well, looked like the 2005 Bwest!! But they need some other players right now so I'm headed back to the farm!!" an upbeat Westbrook posted on Twitter. Westbrook gained more than 1,200 total yards and had seven touchdowns with the Eagles in 2005.

Westbrook starred as a do-it-all back for eight years with the Eagles, but after spending last season with the San Francisco 49ers, the two-time Pro Bowl selection is without a home.

The Dolphins also worked out running back Thomas Clayton on Tuesday, NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora reported.
