OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- Authorities said Baltimore Ravens assistant offensive line coach Andy Moeller is facing drunken-driving charges.
Maryland State Police said the coach was arrested after being pulled over for speeding on the Maryland beltway early Saturday.
Moeller's attorney, Andrew Alperstein, said the coach will plead not guilty to seven charges, including driving under the influence and negligent driving. Ravens spokesman Kevin Byrne said the team is aware of what happened.
Moeller was acquitted last month of charges of driving under the influence and negligent driving. Alperstein said the judge found that Moeller wasn't driving.
Moeller has been on the Ravens' staff since 2008 and coached for eight years at Michigan after playing there. He is the son of former Michigan head coach Gary Moeller.
