It's hard enough to imagine the Indianapolis Colts without Peyton Manning. But without Reggie Wayne, too? No way.

Rich Eisen will interview Colts owner Jim Irsay regarding Peyton Manning's future and the 2012 draft on NFL Network's "Thursday Night Kickoff," which starts at 6 p.m. ET.
And yet, Wayne acknowledged that Thursday night's NFL Network game against the Houston Texans could very well be his final appearance in a Colts uniform at Lucas Oil Stadium.
"Well, it could," the five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver said Wednesday, when a reporter mentioned the possibility. "I am well aware of that, and I've come to the conclusion that, in every athlete's career, they are going to be faced with this decision at some point in time, whether it is a long career or a short career."
With how terrible the one-win Colts have been this season, it would come as no surprise to see a massive overhaul take place in Indianapolis. If that happens, then it's feasible the 33-year-old Wayne, who's set to become a free agent after this season, wouldn't be part of the team's plans -- especially if Manning isn't retained.
"I truly appreciate them, man," Wayne said. "They come out with the Reggie signs, and no matter what the situation is, they are always there cheering, and it could be a little tough. Everybody said it would be a little emotional for me, but we'll see."
Wayne jokingly had a request for the fans.
"If this is my last game," he said, "they have to find another Reggie to keep that chant going."
No way anybody could fill Wayne's shoes in Indy, could they?
