Bush buys Segways to show appreciation for Dolphins' O-line

Fresh off the best season of his six-year NFL career, Reggie Bush was in a very giving mood Saturday at Dolphins headquarters.

As a thank you for helping him achieve his first 1,000-yard rushing campaign, the running back bought each of his offensive linemen a Segway PT.

"Just bought the whole offensive Line Segways!!!! I think they like them!" Bush tweeted Saturday. "They are riding around the parking lot like little kids in a candy store! LMAO!"

Kudos to Bush, who provided a unique twist to the time-honored tradition of skill players rewarding the grunts up front. Back in 2004, Jets running back Curtis Martin gave each of his O-linemen Rolex watches for helping him win the rushing title. Dolphins legend Dan Marino was known to give his linemen Isotoner gloves during a series of TV commercials in the '80s (in retrospect, this was pretty weak.)

Of course, a Rolex is good at telling time and Isotoners keep your hands warm ... but does either allow you to abandon walking like the Segway? No. No they do not.

Bush went on: "Direct Quote from the O Line: "This is the coolest gift I've ever received!" Mission Complete!"

Bush won't play in Sunday's season finale against the Jets, but we're sure his blockers would have given a premium effort if he did. At around $6,000 a pop, Segways have the ability to inspire.
