The Miami Dolphins conducted a second interview with interim head coach Todd Bowles earlier this week, and a second interview with Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy is scheduled for Thursday, league sources told NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora.
The team also planned a second interview with Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin.
All interviews with owner Stephen Ross are taking place in New York, where he works.
The Miami Herald reported that McCoy has withdrawn himself from consideration for the head-coaching position in Oakland because he considers himself the front-runner to land the top job in Miami.
La Canfora previously reported that McCoy declined an interview with the Raiders on Wednesday.
After firing Tony Sparano in December, the Dolphinsbegan their coaching search with their sights set on landing a big name. However, former Titans coach Jeff Fisher -- the biggest name out there -- picked the St. Louis Rams over Miami last week. Since then, the Dolphins appear to have narrowed their choices down to McCoy, Philbin and Bowles.
