The Jets activated Landry from the active/PUP list Thursday, a great sign that the former top-10 draft pick with the Washington Redskins has recovered from his Achilles injury. Jets coach Rex Ryan hasn't seen Landry practice since signing him. The Jets also added Yeremiah Bell in free agency, in part because they couldn't rely on Landry.
New York's defense has potential to be very good once again. They finally are getting a little younger and faster. If there is a weakness, it's at safety. A healthy Landry would make a big difference.
