The Jacksonville Jaguars will play multiple games in London, according to Vito Stellino of The Florida Times-Union.
Stellino reported that Jaguars owner Shad Khan and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will make the announcement at a press conference Tuesday.
Khan said he was in favor of the move ever since he purchased the Jaguars last year.
The Jaguars will take over for the St. Louis Rams, who withdrew from their commitment to play overseas in 2013 and 2014, in an announcement last Monday.
"In an effort to focus on the Edward Jones Dome First Tier Process with the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission, the St. Louis Rams are withdrawing their commitment to play a home game in London in each of the 2013 and 2014 seasons," the Rams said in a statement.
The "First Tier Process" referenced in the statement refers to the ongoing process between the Rams and the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission to make Edward Jones Dome a "First Tier" stadium. If they are unsuccessful, the team can leave the lease after 2014.
The Minnesota Vikingsreportedly had been one of the "top candidates" expected to represent the NFL in London.
"We've expressed an interest, and there's a process the league is following," Vikings vice president of public affairs Lester Bagley said last Friday.
