Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch remains an unknown entity heading into Week 1.
Lynch (back spasms) was a limited participant in practice for a second straight day, but is listed as questionable on Friday's official injury report. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll called his star rusher a game-time decision.
Jeremiah: Key matchups in Week 1
Enticing subplots abound heading into the season's first Sunday, but Daniel Jeremiah identifies five marquee battles. **More ...**
"He made it through all of the work, he looks good, but it's still day-to-day," Carroll said, via the Everett Herald. "We've got to see how he responds tomorrow, so it takes us all the way to game time to make sure everything's all right, but he did do well during the week."
One player who will definitely be out of the lineup against the Arizona Cardinals is wide receiver Golden Tate, who Carroll said won't be back until the "middle of next week" as he deals with a knee injury.
Braylon Edwards will start in Tate's place. Robert Turbin will get carries if Lynch can't go.
