According to the logic system of Reggie Bush, losing Darrelle Revis for the year is a fitting destiny for the New York Jets.
The Miami Dolphins running back argued the disastrous setback for Rex Ryan's defense serves Gotham well after the coach promised to pour "a little hot sauce" on Bush in their Week 3 showdown.
Ryan (hopefully) put an end to the war of words on Wednesday, telling reporters, "I never want to injure a player. I think he misinterpreted what I was saying."
Bush hurt his knee in the loss to New York, but he wasn't taken out by a violent hit. It was a freak injury suggesting no malice on the part of the Jets, a team whose season is on the ropes without Revis in the secondary. Bush isn't winning any style points by suggesting Gang Green has tangled with karma and lost. His message is ponderous.
