By my count during periodical trips to area Barnes & Noble establishments, New York Giants players and coaches have written 33,000 books on the team's Super Bowl runs in 2008 and 2012.
Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz became a sensation last season thanks to his propensity for big plays and, of course, his inate ability to salsa in the endzone. In his book, "Out Of The Blue," Cruz delved into his displeasure with Carlos Rogers, the San Francisco 49ers cornerback who mocked Cruz during a regular-season game last November.
"Then with his teammates cheering him on, he did a sarcastic salsa dance over me," Cruz wrote, via The Sacramento Bee. "The Candlestick Park crowd went ballistic, but I wasn't laughing. It was a sign of disrespect. Instead of getting up and retaliating, though, I sat and watched Rogers finish his cheap Victor Cruz imitation.
"I promised to never forget it. I wasn't sure when the opportunity would present itself but I was confident I'd get payback for that dance."

Cruz did get his revenge, beating Rogers' Niners in the NFC Championship Game and putting up 16 catches for 226 yards in two games against the team. With a rematch between the teams on tap, Rogers hinted more imitation salsa could be on the menu.
"I like the dance, actually," Rogers said Tuesday. "I really can't do it as good as him, but if I make a play or get an interception on him in my mind, (I'll) just do his dance."
