The compliments keep rolling in for Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb.
First was Aaron Rodgers.
"Randall is probably going to go down as one of the better picks in Ted Thompson's career, if not the best," the Packers' star quarterback said on his weekly radio show on ESPN Wisconsin with Jason Wilde.
Michael Lombardi admitted on NFL Network's "First on the Field" to having a man-crush on Cobb, and former running back LaDainian Tomlinson made a strong comparison.
"(He's like) a poor man's Percy Harvin," Tomlinson said Sunday.
Cobb received an increased role in the Packers' offense with Greg Jennings out with a groin injury. Cobb clearly has moved in front of veteran Donald Driver on the depth chart.
Cobb was a former quarterback at the University of Kentucky with outstanding speed and quickness. The Packers want to get him the ball in space where he can make defenders miss.
This was supposed to be Cobb's breakout year. He's certainly taking advantage of the increased opportunities.
