Darnell Dockett doesn't exactly endorse Cards' coach

Ken Whisenhunt likely will need at least one victory in these last three weeks to keep his job as the Arizona Cardinals' coach. He also must prove this team still is motivated to play for him.

Whisenhunt apologized to Cardinals fans and the entire organization following a 58-0 calamity of a loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. The Cardinals have lost nine in a row after a four-game winning streak to start the season.

Defensive tackle Darnell Dockett said before a team meeting Monday that he'll continue playing hard for defensive coordinator Roy Horton and his fellow defensive linemen, according to The Associated Press.

As for Whisenhunt? Dockett replied, "No comment."

Before we take this as a sign that a mutiny is afoot in Arizona, please consider the source. The Cardinals recently fined Dockett $200,000 for disobeying coaches' orders during a 7-6 loss to the New York Jets last Sunday.

Dockett probably would love to operate in a world where Whisenhunt no longer is his boss. Whisenhunt is like a cook in the kitchen trying to put out multiple fires at once.
