Darrell Bevell set to interview for Arizona Cardinals job

Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell continues his countrywide trek for a promotion.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday that Bevell is scheduled to meet with the Arizona Cardinals about their vacant head-coaching job.

Bevell, along with Montreal Alouettes coach Marc Trestman and Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians, are reportedly finalists for the Chicago Bears' coaching job. Trestman is believed to be a heavy favorite in that chase, which adds more urgency to Bevell's meeting with the Cardinals.

Bevell is the fifth coach to visit with the Cardinals about their opening since Ken Whisenhunt was fired at the conclusion of a 5-11 season.
