INDIANAPOLIS -- Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson wasn't sweating it when two wide receivers ran an unofficial 4.25 seconds in the 40-yard dash early Sunday at the NFL Scouting Combine.
In a text to NFL Network's Scott Hanson, Johnson wanted to see the official times come out first.
CJ2K was similarly unfazed Sunday afternoon when Auburn running back Onterio McCalebb ripped off an unofficial 4.21 in the 40, tweeting "Listen 4.21 that's childish."
When the official results came in, Texas' Marquise Goodwin wound up with a 4.27, which is second-fastest to Johnson. McCalebb and West Virginia's Tavon Austin both ran a 4.34.
"Proud to be standing strong," Johnson texted to Hanson after the dust settled.
Johnson holds the combine record of 4.24 from his run in 2008. That number remains a big source of pride for Johnson; he has become the combine's answer to the Miami Dolphins' Mercury Morris.
