If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. That might be Charles Woodson's philosophy in 2013.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday that Charles Woodson will visit the San Francisco 49ers on Wednesday, according to his agent, Carl Poston. Woodson has said he wants to play for a contender.
It could be a perfect match. Dashon Goldson seems ticketed for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the 49ers know how to use versatile safety talent. The 49ers don't seem to be afraid of aging veterans, considering their move to acquire Anquan Boldin and now this scheduled Woodson visit.
We don't expect Woodson to have a huge market. He's likely to take a short-term deal with incentives. It's hard to imagine a better scenario for him than signing with the 49ers.
