New Browns defensive coordinator Ray Horton will have a familiar face in Cleveland as he installs his 3-4 system.

Former Arizona Cardinals linebacker Quentin Groves has signed a two-year, $2.8 million contract with the Browns, a source involved in the process told NFL.com's Ian Rapoport on Wednesday.

ESPN's Adam Schefter first reported Groves agreeing to the deal.

Groves was ranked as Around the League's No. 24 pass rusher available in free agency. He had four sacks in 2012 and started seven of 16 games.

The Browns haven't wasted any time since free agency opened Tuesday afternoon. They signed another outside linebacker, Paul Kruger, and defensive tackle Desmond Bryant for a combined $75 million.

The Browns needed some new pieces for the new scheme. They haven't been shy about going after them.
