That might be changing. A league source tells ESPNDallas.com that the Oakland Raiders have expressed interest in Jenkins.
No NFL team is more desperately in need of help in the secondary than the Raiders, who were forced to move long-time safety Michael Huff to cornerback last season. Huff subsequently has been released, as Oakland has parted with all four of the cornerbacks to have played at least 300 snaps last season.
Jenkins was a luxury as a fourth cornerback on a Cowboys defense that added Brandon Carr and Morris Claiborne last season. He might be a necessity as the No. 1 cornerback for the Raiders.
Update: The Raiders also talking to free agent cornerback Tracy Porter, reports ESPN.com's Bill Williamson.
