Our experts can't agree on 2013 NFL Draft's top picks

With less than two weeks to go, our talented NFL.com draft analysts simply cannot agree on what will happen with the first two picks of the 2013 NFL Draft.

With mocks flooding the atmosphere, we're a long way from one year ago, when every living man, woman and child assumed Andrew Luck was going to the Indianapolis Colts with the first overall pick.

The disagreement this year begins right at the top.

Kansas City Chiefs, No. 1

After trading for Alex Smith, the Chiefs are looking to protect their new quarterback, but that doesn't guarantee they'll take one of the highly touted offensive tackles first overall.

Texas A&M's Luke Joeckel has long been linked to Kansas City, and five of our eight experts believe he's the pick. Josh Norris and Bucky Brooks don't, tabbing Central Michigan's Eric Fisher as the No. 1 choice.

Then there's Akbar Gbajabiamila, thinking differently and proposing that coach Andy Reid is preparing to surprise the masses by going with Utah defensive tackle Star Lotulelei.

Jacksonville Jaguars, No. 2

Despite a growing sense that the Jaguars are zeroing in on Geno Smith with the No. 2 pick, our experts aren't buying it.

Only Brooks has the West Virginia quarterback pegged for the Jaguars at second overall.

Norris doesn't even rank Smith as the top passer available, bestowing that honor instead on Tyler Wilson of Arkansas. Norris has the Jaguars taking LSU pass rusher Barkevious Mingo.

Former NFL scout Daniel Jeremiah believes Oregon defensive end Dion Jordan will go No. 2, and Gbajabiamila, Charley Casserly and Gil Brandt agree with that notion.

Charles Davis and Matt "Money" Smith see the Jaguars taking Fisher (which would bring a smile to the face of quarterback Blaine Gabbert, if nothing else).

Oakland Raiders, No. 3

The third overall pick to the Raiders is where all of our analysts draw into perfect harmony. All eight believe the Raiders will grow meaner along their four-man front with the addition of Florida defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd.

What about Geno?

Jeremiah has Geno Smith going No. 4 to the Philadelphia Eagles, where he'd shift from running WVU's high-flying "Air Raid" offense to coach Chip Kelly's up-tempo bag of tricks.

Half of the group -- Gbajabiamila, Brandt, Casserly and Norris -- sees the Buffalo Bills swooping in at No. 8, while Davis and "Money" Smith have Geno going one spot higher to the Arizona Cardinals at No. 7.

We'll find out which one of these experts -- if any -- nailed their predictions soon enough.
