The Detroit Lions are the first team to have their entire 2013 NFL Draft class under contract. That includes the No. 5 overall pick.

DetroitLions.com reported Friday that Ezekiel "Ziggy" Ansahsigned a five-year contract. NFL.com's Albert Breer reported there's no offset language in the contract, according to a source. Ian Rapoport reported later Friday that Ansah's contract is guaranteed for skill, injury and salary cap.
Rapoport also was told that the Lions barely pushed for offset language with Ansah. As one NFL general manager told Rapoport, "Maybe we're all realizing it's a pretty stupid fight."
Ansah is just the second first-round pick to sign; the New Orleans Saints' Kenny Vaccarolanded a deal Thursday night.
The Lions said after the draft that Ansah was rated third on their entire draft board, but that reportedly didn't stop them from trying to trade down to No. 8 with the Buffalo Bills. It's hard to imagine Ansah, as raw as it gets for a top pick, landing in a better spot.
Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley will attract a lot of attention from blockers on the inside, and Ansah will line up extra wide in the Lions' "Wide 9" approach under assistant defensive line coach Jim Washburn. Ansah figures to get a lot of snaps right away, even if he's not immediately a starter on running downs. Willie Young and Jason Jones also are on the defensive end depth chart.
