Michael Strahan not buying Dallas Cowboys hype

Last week, NFL.com senior analyst Gil Brandt wrote a piece around these parts explaining why he believed the Dallas Cowboys were primed to return to the playoffs for the first time since 2009.

Unbeknownst to Gil, his analysis summoned the troll buried deep within the soul of former New York Giants star Michael Strahan.

Predictably, this was met with heavy resistance from Cowboys fans, who don't care much for derisive social media commentary from someone they regard as a poor man's DeMarcus Ware. And a poor man's Regis Philbin.

Check out Strahan's feed for some nice back and forth between the former Giants defensive end and Cowboys fans. We're sure Strahan will bring this up to Gelman on Monday morning.

Wait, is Gelman still around? I haven't seen that show since I was home sick from school in 1992.
