A.J. Green will be 'fine' after injury scare, Lewis says

A.J. Green gave a lot of people at Cincinnati Bengals training camp a big scare Thursday. We'll find out if the team has real reason to be concerned.

Coach Marvin Lewis didn't seem worried, though, after Green awkwardly fell at practice.

"I think he's fine," Lewis said, per The Associated Press. "They went inside just so they can take a look, but I think he's fine. ... He just twisted himself, one of A.J.'s contortions."

Green was on the ground for a few minutes being attended to by trainers, who looked at his left knee. Green eventually was able to walk off the field; he didn't require a cart. The injury occurred when Green and Terence Newmangot entangled while going after an Andy Dalton deep ball.

We normally don't pass along every training-camp injury, but this is A.J. Green. Few non-quarterbacks mean more to their organization. We'll let you know what the doctors find out after checking out Green.
