Giants' David Wilson, Andre Brown to split carries

The New York Giants on Thursday listed running backs David Wilson and Andre Brown as co-starters on the team's first unofficial depth chart.

That's no surprise here in August. Big Blue long has been a meritocracy under coach Tom Coughlin, meaning preseason will decide this race. Wilson -- also tabbed for kick returns -- finished his rookie campaign with 358 yards and four touchdowns on 71 carries. Brown last season had 385 yards and eight touchdowns on 73 tries. The difference here is Wilson's explosiveness, making it tough for New York to pull him off the field. Still, Brown keeps this from being a one-man show.
