TCU quarterback Casey Pachall underwent surgery on his injured left forearm Saturday and will miss several games, the school announced.
Pachall was hurt late in the first quarter attempting to brace his fall at the end of a scramble.

Redshirt sophomore Trevone Boykin replaced Pachall in the 38-17 win over Southeastern Louisiana. Boykin threw for 133 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 35 yards.
Boykin had played some slot receiver before Pachall got hurt, catching three passes for 25 yards.
The exact nature of Pachall's injury was not disclosed and a timetable for his return was not immediately known, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported.
TCU opens Big 12 conference play Thursday night at Texas Tech.
