On another ugly afternoon for the Jacksonville Jaguars, quarterback Blaine Gabbertexited Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams after sustaining a left hamstring injury. He did not return.
Gabbert exited midway through the third quarter. Backup Chad Henne took over and immediately hit receiver Justin Blackmon for a 39-yard strike. That's been a rare sight for Gabbert and for Jacksonville, a team that remains stuck in the mud.
Gabbert's play has devolved this season -- he left with two picks on the day -- and his durability remains an issue. He's been knocked out of five of his last 10 starts for Jacksonville, including the preseason.
