The Green Bay Packers' wide receiving corps took two big hits Sunday in the first half against the Baltimore Ravens.
James Jones was ruled out early with a knee injury. Then, with under a minute left in the first half, Randall Cobb was injured on a hit to his right knee. The Packers said Cobb was out for the rest of the game. Wearing street clothes and on crutches, Cobb eventually was brought back to the sideline on a golf cart.
Jones appeared to hyperextend his knee while blocking on a running play during the Packers' second drive of the game.
Cobb caught a 15-yard pass as the Packers were driving at the end of the half. He was hit on the knee as he dove to Baltimore's 11-yard line. Cobb immediately grabbed his knee before being helped off. The wide receiver was carted to the locker room before the half ended.
The Packers struggled in pass protection, and Aaron Rodgers was off target most of first half. Missing two of his best targets won't help.
Jarrett Boykin was targeted five times, but had two drops and zero catches. He, along with Jordy Nelson, will be counted on by Rodgers in the second half.
The Packers led 6-0 at halftime.
