Eli Manning becomes New York Giants' all-time passing leader

Records are made to be broken.

Eli Manning passed Phil Simms to become the New York Giants' all-time passing yardage leader during the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Making his 143rd consecutive start Sunday, Manning entered just 14 yards behind Simms' 33,462.

Manning finished the game with 246 passing yards, giving him 33,694 for his career.

Taking down a team record is a great accomplishment, especially when your team wins 15-7 over the division rival Philadelphia Eagles, but Manning would rather have more than two wins through eight weeks of the season. So don't expect much celebration from Eli.
