"I think he is ready," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Tuesday on KRLD-FM, per The Dallas Morning News.
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported in October that Ware would be out three to four weeks after straining his quadriceps muscle against theWashington Redskins. Assuming he fulfills Jones' statement, Ware will be back just in time for the Cowboys, who lead the NFC East.
Dallas desperately needs any help it can get on defense, which is being steamrolled by the week. Matching Ware with defensive tackle Jason Hatcher, who is having a defensive player of the year-type season, might give the Cowboys a pass rush that will take some pressure off a shaky secondary.
