Oklahoma State wide receiver Josh Stewart suffered an apparent left foot injury in the Cowboys' game against Kansas on Saturday.

Stewart was hurt while returning a punt in the first quarter and had to be helped off the field. Clearly in great discomfort, Stewart was eventually taken to the locker room.
A 5-foot-10, 185-pound junior, Stewart came into the game with 40 receptions for 510 receiving yards -- pacing the team in both categories -- and two touchdowns. Stewart is also averaging 19.2 yards per punt return with two touchdowns.
Still in control of its own destiny in the Big 12, Oklahoma State closes the season with games against Texas, Baylor and Bedlam rival Oklahoma. But given the inconsistency its passing game has shown, the loss of Stewart for any extended period of time could prove a devastating blow to those conference championship aspirations.
