Matt Flynn replaces Scott Tolzien at QB for Packers

Matt Flynn is back in action for the Green Bay Packers.

With the offense struggling and the season hanging in the balance, Flynn replaced Scott Tolzien at quarterback during Sunday's matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.

Flynn entered the game with the Packers trailing the Vikings, 20-7, midway through the third quarter. Tolzien had a pretty touchdown scramble off a broken play in the first quarter but was otherwise ineffective, completing just 7 of 17 passes for 98 yards.

Flynn signed with the Packers earlier this month after previous 2013 pit stops with the Oakland Raiders and Buffalo Bills. Flynn found success as Aaron Rodgers' backup earlier in his career.

Rodgers has missed the past three weeks with a broken collarbone. The Packers are winless during that time, a trend that will continue unless Flynn can jump-start the offense.
