In Ohio on Saturday, the alphabet will have just 25 letters.
In honor of what he calls "THE rivalry," Ohio Gov. John K. Kasich had some fun and issued an executive proclamation Friday saying that Saturday will be "Scarlet Letter Saturday."
The proclamation encourages all Ohioans "to avoid using the letter 'M' when possible."
Ohio State (11-0), which is third in this week's BCS standings, plays at Michigan (7-4) -- or, rather, "Ichigan" -- on Saturday. Ohio State -- which will be coached by "Urban Eyer" and quarterbacked by "Braxton Iller" (OK, we'll stop) -- has won 23 in a row overall and nine of the past 11 against the Wolverines.
