Cardinals' Larry Fitzgerald 'feels good,' father says

The Arizona Cardinals finished Sunday's 37-34 overtime win against the Tennessee Titans without the services of Larry Fitzgerald.

The All-Pro wide receiver reportedly sustained a concussion in the victory, but his father, Larry Fitzgerald Sr., tweeted Monday that his son is on the mend:

Encouraging words, but Fitzgerald is no sure bet for Sunday's pivotal NFC West matchup with the Seattle Seahawks. He'll need to voyage through the league's protocol for head injuries without further symptoms before he practices or plays.

With the Cardinals still alive for the conference's final wild-card spot, Fitzgerald's availability is arguably the biggest injury news coming out of Sunday's action -- and a scenario we'll monitor closely this week.

UPDATE:Cardinals coach Bruce Arians told reporters Monday that Fitzgerald still has to go through the concussion protocol.
