Patriots' Tom Brady won't watch Super Bowl XLVIII

Tom Brady has zero desire to watch a Super Bowl he won't be playing in.

GMC Never Say Never Moment

Tom Brady and the Patriots overcame a 24-point halftime deficit against the Broncos to prevail in Week 12. Was it the best moment of 2013?

Fresh off Sunday's AFC title game loss to Denver, the quarterback of the New England Patriots told WEEI-FM this week that he won't be among the millions tuning in to see Peyton Manning and the Broncos take on the Seattle Seahawks.

"I don't have much of a rooting interest, truthfully," he said. "Those games are hard to watch. I don't really see myself sitting down to enjoy a football game to watch it. Our season's over. Truthfully, I could care less about watching the game. That's pretty much how I feel."

Who can blame the guy? We'll be watching -- and you'll be watching -- Super Bowl XLVIII while Brady picks red apples in a sunlit meadow with Gisele.

Talk about a backup plan.
