The Round Mound of Touchdown. The Pillsbury Throwboy. Hefty lefty.
The nicknames all still apply to former Giants backup quarterback Jared Lorenzen, whose legend as a star at Kentucky is continuing to grow nearly as fast as his waistline. Can't believe your eyes? Photos postedto Twitter on Monday night confirm with stunning clarity that Lorenzen, indeed, is still eating well.
It's hard to believe that Lorenzen completed the only four passes of his NFL career as recently as 2007. It's even harder to recall what a gifted passer he was in the SEC, completing 321 passes for 3,687 yards as a freshman in 2000.
Keep throwing, Jared. Semi-pro football will always be in a better place with you than without you.
