Where will Jermichael Finley end up in 2014?
It's a loaded question for a player who hasn't even received full medical clearance following a scary injury that required spinal fusion surgery last year. NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Friday that Finley's neurosurgeon will examine his scans Saturday and determine if the Packers tight end will be fully cleared.
You can safely assume Finley and his agent have their fingers crossed that clearance is gained before Tuesday's start of free agency. Finley should have several teams knocking at his door, with the New York Jets, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Giants and Seattle Seahawks all potentially in the mix.
Green Bay is also still in play, with other teams likely to poke around if Finley's medicals come back clean. Gregg Rosenthal made a logical case for Finley becoming a running mate with Calvin Johnson.
Finley flashed glimpses of being an elite playmaker at his position during his five years in Green Bay. If healthy, he represents a potential steal on the open market.
