The Minnesota Vikings have snagged a big man from a division rival.
Defensive lineman Corey Wootton has agreed to a one-year deal with the Vikings, according to Wootton's agent.
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports that Wootton's deal has a max value of $2 million, per a source who has seen the contract.

Wootton spent his four prior seasons with the Chicago Bears. He started 15 games last season, finishing with 34 tackles, three sacks and a forced fumble. He is currently recovering from hip surgery.
Wootton provides versatility for the Vikings with his ability to play both inside and outside on the defensive line. The signing increases the chances defensive tackle Kevin Williams won't return to Minnesota.
Wootton is perhaps best known for his first career sack -- a punishing December 2010 takedown of Brett Favre that concussed the legendary quarterback. Favre never played another down.
