Denver Broncos have talked trading up in first round

The San Francisco 49ers aren't the only Super Bowl contender attempting to trade up in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft.

The Broncos have discussed a move up the draft board, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday evening.

Middle linebacker is one of Denver's biggest needs. It's believed that they have interest in Alabama's C.J. Mosley and Ohio State's Ryan Shazier.

Cornerback and defensive line are other possibilities if they go an alternate route.

Realizing Peyton Manning's championship window is propped open for just another year or two, John Elway was one of the NFL's most aggressive general managers in free agency.

It comes as no surprise that he's taking the same tack in the draft.
