Former New York Giants cornerback Terrell Thomas signed with the Seattle Seahawks on Monday, a source informed of the move told NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport.
The signing reunites Thomas and his college coach, Pete Carroll.
Thomas spent his entire career with the Giants after they selected him in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Thomas tore his ACL in a preseason game in August 2011, then reinjured his ACL the following spring.
Thomas missed two consecutive regular seasons, but he managed to bounce back with a solid 2013 campaign, playing in all 16 games.
Thomas played under Carroll at USC from 2004 to 2007. During that time, he was named to the All-Pac-10 second team on two occasions.
