The Buffalo Bills have seen enough from Alan Branch.
The team on Sunday cut the veteran defensive tackle just one day after he was arrested for drunken driving in upstate New York.
State police told The Associated Press that Branch was arrested at about 2 a.m. ET Saturday in the town of Cheektowaga after officers noticed Branch vomiting out the driver's side door of his vehicle. Per authorities, Branch failed a field sobriety test and had a blood alcohol level of .14 percent.
The arrest came just hours before the Bills were crushed 27-14 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Saturday's home preseason tilt.
"I'm going to meet with him (Sunday),"Bills coach Doug Marrone said after the game, per The Buffalo News. "I found out somewhere around noontime, midday. I just had too much on my mind."
It ends a disappointing run for Branch, who signed a three-year, $8.5 million contract with a $3.1 million signing bonus last December. He started 13 games for Buffalo last year but found himself on the roster bubble even before Saturday's misadventures. The Bills will save $1.9 million by letting Branch walk.
