Antrel Rolle has a theory on why Giants teammate Prince Amukamara is having the best season of his career.
Hint: It's less about X's and O's and more about birds and bees.
"I think it all ties into one another, as far as him getting married, being able to (have sex)," Rolle said, according to NJ.com. "He's just developing more as a man and accepting challenges and being the dominant player that we need him to be that we know he's capable of."
A quote like that begs for context. Amukamara is a devout Christian who abstained from premarital sex. The cornerback told Muscle & Fitness magazine last year that he was a virgin.
And now he's not. Rolle says Amukamara has carried himself differently this season.
"He walks around with a little more swagger, which is something that we need, which is something that we love," Rolle said.
Amukamara addressed Rolle's comments as he came off the practice field Thursday.
Oh man. Rolle deserves the cold tub treatment for this one.
